Biography:

The three man outfit Nagasa a roots trio out of Philadelphia persist with a brand new album now out on Stone Hites Records/Vpal Music titled Now or Never.

Consisting of Donald Bramwell, Livingston Edwards and Balfour Jim Saunders, all hailing from Jamaica. In the tradition of the great vocal groups of reggae Nagasa ten track offering is worth 
listening to.

Formed in 1979 by Bramwell, Errol Russell and Milton Henry, Nagasa , typical of many groups have undergone multiple changes in personnel save for Bramwell the self styled” Duckie 
Simpson of Nagasa”.

Over the years three albums were released before the current one, Can’t Stop Jah Children, Be Cool in Yourself and It’s Time For Us. They became a staple of the Tri-State reggae scene opening for the likes of The Mighty Diamonds, Damian Marley, Israel Vibration and Maxi Priest.Regularly appearing on annual shows Caribbean Music Festival and Reggae in the Park. 

Some years ago they were the subject of an article in Billboard magazine who favorably reviewed their cover of classic song Ooh Child.

With manager Roger Grant on board and a distribution deal with Vpal Music Nagasa is aiming for wider exposure as the title track of the album says its “Now or Never”
