Marina Nestola aka "La Marina" is a multifaceted artist born in 1982 in the province of Lecce in Italy. She is a singer, who made her debut very young with the songs "Profezia" and "Stù core pe tie" (feat.Papa Leu) which appeared in the compilation "SALENTO SHOWCASE 2000" (Salento Sound System)
From 1999 to 2009, she collaborated with numerous artists, with the songs: "Ci è ca nu bole" with SUD SOUND SYSTEM, "Sciamu a Ballare" (in ACQUA PE STA TERRA) and "La Brava Gente" in combination with Laza (Jam).
In 2001, She released the song "Stà Domina" in the compilation "COMBO" produced by Macro Marco and In 2004, She launched with GOPHER D the track "7 Giurni" (Wastasi Records)
In 2006 her first debut album "COMU PASSIONE" was released with the collaboration of Rankin'lele & Papa Leu for V2 Records/Salento Sound System.
In 2012 she released her sophomore album titled "ENERGIA CREATIVA" (ElevenBeats Records). The song "La mia Anima" first track of the album was also published in the compilation "DONNE IN BLACK" produced by Music in Black.
In the Summer of 2016 her EP "What About Love" was released In 2017, the song "Ha scritto per me" appeared in the second volume of the compilation "Women in Black vol.2" produced by Rising time & Music in Black
Between 2018 and 2022, in the name of good vibes, she releases "TRUTH IN MY HEART" on HEAVENBASS RIDDIM. followed by the wonderful songs "SEMPRE QUI", "ORA LO Sò", "GIOIA INFINITA" and many other super hits
"La Marina" is one of the most representative female voices of the Salento raggamuffin. At the end of April 2023, the artist publishes the song "In ogni mio pensiero" feat. OneDrop Fellas.
