ANDREW BEES Scores First No.1 Single on New York Top 30 Music Chart
Old time something come back again! 41years after the release of Delroy Wilson's revered reggae song "Better Must Come" spread through out Jamaica and 18 years after his passing, Andrew Bees' tribute single to the reggae legend creates history making it Bees' first #1 hit in its 13th week on Foundation Radio Network/New York Top 30 Music Chart.
Just a week prior to the song topping the chart, for the first time since recording the tribute and its release, Andrew Bees in a candid interview with Empress Skortcher of Global Linkz Radio, explained the significance of him recording "Better Must Come."
Bees explained that while he was an infant at time of its release, his father "Marmalade" later gave him the history regarding the song being used in 1972 as a political campaign theme song to bring hope and motivation to the struggling people of Jamaica and his Waterhouse community.
Bees said that it was while chilling off stage on a tour with Black Uhuru in September 2012 that his long time protege Fitzroy Francis was singing the song thus creating the inspiration for recording it as a tribute to the Reggae Icon came to mind. The two carried out the project with Francis producing it on his Mightyful13 Record Label. It was officially released on November 2012 digital worldwide by via VP Records Vpal Dist.

Biography:
Long regarded as Jamaica original "Dance Hall Singer", Maddo first gained recognition as a performing artist when he teamed with the late great DJ General Echo.
He introduced a new musical concept to the dance halls of Jamaica when historically singers were limited to performing on stage with live bands and not with sound systems.
The combination of DJ and singer performing together on the same rhythms created the sound now known as "Dance Hall Style" which is the foundation for American rap and hip hop Sound.
The new combination of DJ and singer drew the attention of powerful Jamaican producers and Maddo went on to record several number 1 hits song including : 'Joe Grind', 'Coming from Town', 'Jammin' So', and 'Hotel Fee', just to name a few... Maddo's limitless talent had influenced the performance of others as well such as : Eek-A-Mouse, Frankie Paul, Garnet Silk, his brother U-U Maddo, and Grammy winner Shabba Ranks....
During a conversation in Boston, Shabba had recounted his younger days when he would go to the dance halls and study the style of General Echo and Maddo who was known back then as the "Bionic Singer". Following the untimely deaths of the Stereophonic Crew, Big John, Echo and Flux, which is still unsolved till this day as the case was named the "Halfway Tree Killings", a story that was told by Madoo in his song "Bite Di Dust".
There after Maddo stopped recording and performing for a while... Luckily for the hard core reggae fans as time went by Maddo did appear on some well chosen stage appearances so that the fans were still able to listen, enjoy his music, and watch him at what he does best...... entertaining a crowd !!

Canadian recording Reggae artiste "Tasha T" storms into the new year with the release of a hard hitting, socially conscious single "In A Di Jungle".
The single, released January 11, 2013 on the "RasVibe Records" label, is the first from her highly-anticipated album, "Real Talk" which is currently in the final stages of production.
"In A Di Jungle" epitomizes the challenges faced by youth in inner-city neighborhoods and raises a series of serious and timely questions.
The song warns about the consequences of choosing the path of a gangster. Through this song Tasha T shows her support for the ongoing Stop the Violence movement in Jamaica and across the world.
"I am reaching out to the youth of the world telling them to stay away from violence and crime,"she states. "You can look to a better future if you get a good education. To be successful in life; stay away from the gangster thing; it does not pay. It's not worth it. Life has so much more to offer. Live up and love up. It will suit you better".
Tasha T is no stranger when it comes to providing positive upliftment for young people.
In 2012, she served as the musical ambassador for the Read Across Jamaica Foundation, an organization whose mission is to introduce creative and interactive methods of reading that encourage children to enjoy literature.
During that period, she visited over 20 primary schools in Jamaica, participating in reading activities and providing words of encouragement.
In A Di Jungle was recorded at Grafton Studios and produced by the legendary Mikie Bennett dubbed by music insiders as the "Quincy Jones of Reggae". Biography:
Da Fuchaman, real name Zemroy Thomas, is fast becoming one of the most prominent and influential Reggae Artists on the scene. He was born and raised in St Anne, Jamaica, in a small village called Middle Buxton and is the eldest of ten siblings. After spending his childhood fascinated by music and singing in churches and schools regularly, Thomas was introduced to the world of sound systems and couldn’t get enough of it. He was now able to share his talent with the masses and quickly became somewhat of a local celebrity in his surrounding area.
In 2002 Thomas moved to the UK and was welcomed by a variety of artists and producers. He released his first mix-tape - ‘Keep On Rising’ - in 2006, with Edixion, followed by his debut album - ‘I Am Good Enough’ - in 2008, with Roadz, Edixion and Nero. The release of this album set the bar higher for Thomas, and he was introduced to some of the major players on the reggae scene at the time, including David Zowie and Tippa Irie. In 2012 he released his second album -‘Rise Up’ - which was greatly received by his fans and featured international Reggae Artist - Fitta Warri.
By this time Thomas’s music career was growing internationally which resulted in him working with a range of independent record companies around the world. In 2014 Thomas released an EP with Reggae Livication Records in France followed by an Album in 2015 called ‘Papa Jolly’. The Album received a huge amount of attention from his listeners and featured the likes of Deadly Hunta, Tippa Irie, Blackout Ja and Jah Garvey.
Thomas is a vibrant and positive character who believes that if you focus more on the positive, then that’s what you get back. He is versatile in his song writing and you can find him fusing Roots Reggae with Dancehall, Ska, R’n’B and Hip Hop. Most recently in 2015/16 he has also started working with a range of Jungle Labels including Run Tingz, Rama jam Records, Anticlone Collective, Infidelity Records and Dub Wise.
2016 looks set to be an amazing year for this Artist, he has already been nominated for best Reggae Act in the South West and has a number of new releases on the way, including work alongside the renowned Giddimani Records. His latest track - Fire Blaze - has already got peoples attention and is making its mark. You will also find Da Fuchamans name appearing on a host of Live shows across the Country so he is definitely one to keep a close eye on.
