Full Name: Paul Wilberforce Bent
Birth Date and Location: August 24, 1959 in Kingston13, Jamaica
Events of 1959:
Paul aka “Virgo” Bent was born in Kingston 13, Jamaica in Jubilee hospital from the parents of Inez Eleanor Shem and Clement Wilberforce Bent. Both of his parents are now deceased. Paul attended Camperdown High School, and graduated to CAST-College of ARTS Science and Technology in Jamaica.

Paul has always been and still is a LOVER of music and always interested in knowing and surrounding himself with the newest technology, studying and researching anything to do with music engineering. He migrated to the United States in 1979 and attended MATC-Milwaukee Area Technical College and UWM-University Milwaukee Wisconsin. Paul is a very soft-spoken individual who does not speak much, who is more an observer, and a quick learner.
While Paul attended school he continue to pursue his music career, playing at functions with his sound system and as a Radio Disc Jockey in Milwaukee.

In 1985, Paul moved to Florida working as a truck driver, and of course while driving he would do his music at night after his regular daily 9 to 5. On weekends he would play at clubs, concerts, festivals, executive functions, hotels, halls, Razor Palace, Sunrise Musical Theatre, engineering for artist such as; Alton Ellis, Delroy Wilson, Derrick Morgan, Ken Boothe, Marcia Griffith, Judy Mowatt, Sanchez, Lloyd Parks & We The People Band, Fab Five, Freddie McGregor, Capleton, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Carlene Davis, Coco Tea, Jerry Butler, Ken Boothe, Heptones, Leroy Sybils, Benaiah Band, Bushman, Luciano, Monte Alexander, John Holt, Abyssinians, Charlie Chaplin, Jose Wales, The Original Drifters, Four Tops, Stylistics, Temptations, Nadine Sutherland, Chuck Berry, Lou Rawls, Dorothy Moore, Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens, Cynthia Slash, I-Threes.

Paul is not only a studio engineer he is also a Touring Engineer.
In 1996 Paul was hired by Burning Spear aka Winston Rodney as his lead engineer, and worked with Mr. Rodney for 10 years, then with Morgan Heritage for 3 years, Buju Banton, Toots & The Maytals, Maxi Priest and now presently with Kymani Marley. Since his big break with Burning Spear, Paul has been traveling the world since then doing what he loves and does best.“MUSIC” Paul was the Chief Engineer for the concert Africa Unit in 2005, Addis Abba, Ethiopia to commemorate Bob Marley’s birthday with the I-Threes, The Marley Brothers, Sisters and family along with many more artists with Team Force Audio.

Paul as a studio owner releases albums for the likes of E-Major, Kymani Marley, Michael Brim, Mystic Souls, Michelle Moore, Sis Moy, Jah Creation, Lee Milo, and Bobby Ellis with the album called Muzik-A-Lize.
