True Singers: Sadiki meets Sandra Cross - New Worldwide Release
Jamaican Reggae artist Sadiki and UK Lovers Rock Sandra Cross have released a full-length collaborative effort, titled “True Singers: Sadiki meets Sandra Cross”, on iTunes, Amazon and all other leading digital distributors.
The album’s 13 tracks, features production from Japanese producer machaco, Sadiki, and co-productions from Sadiki & Lloyd Campbell. Musicians include Sly Dunbar, Dean Fraser, Robbie Lyn, Kirk Bennett, Sadiki and Mitchum "Khan" Chin. Engineers Steven Stanley, Rohan Dwyer, Jason Sterling and Sadiki handle the recording and mixing responsibilities.
Sadiki and Sandra met online and decided to work together on an album project. Sadiki flew to Barbados where Sandra resided at the time - 13 tracks were recorded in the space of a week. “Working with Sandra Cross is a blessing for any producer, her overall understanding of vocal techniques and harmonies made it really easy to produce the record,” said Sadiki.
Both Sadiki & Sandra Cross have released multiple albums and toured extensively. Sandra Cross is best known for her work with UK Producer Mad Professor and his Ariwa Label. Her resume includes chart-topping Lovers rock tunes in the UK, Japan and Europe. Sadiki is a three-time nominee for “Most Promising Entertainer” at the International Reggae and World Music Awards. His latest album, Lifeline (Skinny Bwoy/Joe Fraser), reached #1 on the Weekly Star charts and #2 on the Foundation Radio Network Charts in New York and Florida.
“True Singers: Sadiki meets Sandra Cross” is being released on the Skinny Bwoy Jamaica label through an exclusive deal with Structure Music Distribution.
