GROUNDATION - BIOGRAPHY:
Groundation is an American roots Reggae band from Sonoma County in Northern California.
Formed in the fall of 1998 by Harrison Stafford, Marcus Urani, and Ryan Newman, Groundation began on the campus of Sonoma State University's Jazz Program. (Between 1999 and 2001, Harrison Stafford taught the first course on the History of Reggae Music at Sonoma State University).
In 1999, Stafford teamed up with Kris Dilbeck to found Young Tree Records and release Groundation's debut album of the same name.
"Groundation" comes from the Rasta term "Grounation". Grounation Day (April 21) is an important Rastafarian holy day, and second after Coronation Day (November 2). It is celebrated in honor of Haile Selassie's 1966 visit to Jamaica.
The 9-piece band creates an altogether new reggae sound, featuring swirling, jazz/funk inspired horns, stout Latin and African based poly-rhythmics, and soulful harmony vocals. Their concerts utilize live improvisation, in classic jazz fashion, and are renowned for their high energy, communion-type atmosphere. Having gained international notoriety for their progressive fusion style, Groundation regularly plays at major international festivals like Summerjam.
In October 2014, the band released the new album "A Miracle", while their brand new album "The Next Generation" will  be available on September, 21, 2018.

THE TENNORS - ROCKSTEADY GROUP REUNION

Rocksteady and reggae vocal group, The Tennors, have reunited after a 35 year hiatus. Founding member George Murphy (aka: Clive Tennors) and Ronnie Davis have reunited along with new member Henry “Sadiki” Buckley Jr., to record a new album and tour the US and European markets.
The group is already busy writing and recording new material for what will become their first new release in over 35 years. The Tennors made their mark on the Jamaican music scene in 1967 with the release of their first recording (and biggest hit in Jamaica for that year), “Pressure and Slide”, done and released under Sir Coxone’s “Downbeat” label. They went on to make some of the most well-known Rocksteady hits. “Ride Yu Donkey”, “Scrub Mi Khaki”, and “Cleopatra” were among some of the favorites. As a testament to the strength of the group’s music, “Ride Yu Donkey” was a featured track in the 2005 French-American film, “Broken Flowers” which starred Bill Murray and Sharon Stone.

SADIKI - DISCOGRAPHY: (Reggae Singer)

SADIKI - BIOGRAPHY:
Sadiki (born Henry Buckley) in Rollington Town, Kingston, Jamaica.
He is a singer, songwriter, producer and engineer. He masterfully combines influences from Nat King Cole to Beenie Man.
Sadiki and his family migrated to the United States in the late 80's and they settled on Chicago's northside. As part of Chicago's sizeable Jamaican community he was exposed to the newest Reggae sounds coming out of Jamaica as well as the cutting edge of Hip-Hop and R&B. Through these influences Sadiki has developed a vocal range and lyrical skills that brings together the best of both worlds. In 1997 his self-titled debut was released on "Scratchie/Mercury Label" under the name "Pancho Kryztal".
Sadiki returned to Jamaica in 1998 and recorded the single “Rescue Me”.

In 1999, at the suggestion of reggae producer Paul Henton, he changed his name From Pancho Kryztal to Sadiki, (An Egyptian name meaning “faithful or Loyal”).
In 2001 he scored a big hit with “Gal Dem Everytime” on the Buyout riddim for producer Tony 'CD' Kelly. Sadiki then met the Reggae singer Beres Hammond, he was asked to add his vocals to a track at Hammond's Silekshan Studio. Within months of working alongside Hammond, Sadiki was selected as an opening act for the "Music is Life World Tour 2002". On tour with Hammond for almost two years, Sadiki performed throughout the USA, Japan and the Caribbean. Between 2002 and 2006, Sadiki released six singles with the self-produced “Pretty Girl” entering the NY Top 30 Reggae Chart, peaking at #16.

In 2007, Sadiki scored another major hit with a remake of Robin Thicke‟s “Lost Without You” on the Taxi Riddim (Joe Fraser Records).
After a successful 4-city tour of Japan in March of 2007, he was offered a licensing deal for that territory. His second album “Morning’s Come” was released in Japan in November of 2007 (Skinny Bwoy/P-Vine Records). Within weeks of its release, the album hit the #1 spot for reggae releases at HMV record stores throughout Japan, and charted within the top 5 at Tower Records. The US Version of “Morning’s Come”, featuring new and unreleased tracks was independently released worldwide in the Fall of 2008.

In 2010, he released “Lifeline” (Skinny Bwoy Label). The album featured sixteen beautifully crafted tracks, nine of which were written by Sadiki and produced by veteran Lloyd Campbell, Jason Sterling and Sadiki.
A collaborative album “Fi Di Dancehall” with ace DJ Delly Ranx was released in February 2011. The first single from that album “Jamaican Queen”, has also hit the BBC World Reggae Beat Top 10 Chart. Sadiki recently added the title “Artist Manager” to his credentials, signing Reggae group “CHALICE”, Ska Legend “Eric Monty Morris” and Rocksteady giants “The Tennors” to management deals. At the end of 2011, he recorded a new single with top reggae producer Kemar "Flava‟ McGregor. The single "Before The Time" has been included on McGregor's "Club Dance Riddim".
