Mellow Mood is a Reggae band from Pordenone (Italy), which has started playing in 2005.
In April 2008, they won the regional selections of Italia Wave, one of Italy's most famous competitions.
In January 2009, they released "MOVE!" their first full-length album, produced by Paolo Baldini. In May 2009, they Won the Rototom Sunsplash Italian Reggae Contest and rank 3rd at the European Reggae Contest.
On 18th May 2012, they released the new album "Well Well Well".
In these three years after the debut's album, Mellow Mood have come a long way, becoming in the meantime one of the best Italian reggae band. Their music has found new fans in Latin America, Mexico and Guatemala. Currently, the page with their discography is the most visited of our blog. (70 visits everyday).
Our opinion:
"Well Well Well" is a great album that highlights: talent, energy and vitality and artistic expression of all the young band members. it's an intense and elegant album, with songs fast and positive, immersed in a musical texture with many nuances.
The production is still by the great 'Paolo Baldini'.

Romain Virgo's New Album 'THE SYSTEM' Is Out TODAY!
Romain Virgo's new album, “The System”, has finally been released today, after two long years since his debut album . It has been produced by Donovan Germain and Shane Brown through VP Records Label.
After listening obsessively this album, i can understand why it’s doing so well. It is a good album. “The System” is the better album than the first one.
Characterized by lyrical sophistication and song writing consistency, the album contains fifteen original songs that express the growing emotional and social awareness of a young man experiencing life on the road and developing a world view. The songs are personal and universal.
His musical mission, was first introduced to the Jamaican public as a contestant and eventual winner of Rising Stars (new talent competition).
The System is available now on May 8th, 2012.

THE ORIGINAL WAILERS, RELEASE 'MIRACLE', DEBUT EP 2012
'Miracle' is a debut EP by The Original Wailers. it has been produced by Al Anderson and Karl Pitterson and recorded at 'Clubhouse Studio' in Rhinebeck, NY.
In 2008 former Wailers; Junior Marvin and Al Anderson, formed the new group "The Original Wailers".
In 2012, their current line-up includes: Al Anderson (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Steve Samuels (Bass), Paapa Nyarkoh (Drums), Desi Hyson (Lead Vocals, Keyboard), Marty Batista (Keyboards, Organ), Erica Newell (Backup Vocals).
In 2011, Junior Marvin left the group.
'Miracle', is a collective album reminiscent to the electric days of the original three, Peter, Bob and Bunny’s words, sound and power as musicians. It represents pre and post years of reggae music at it’s best. The cd features rebel music that is familiar to our fans of yesterday and today. 'Blackbird', is the first single released from the cd. The song 'Our Day Will Come' is a cover song by Ruby & The Romantics, sung by Erica Newell. Desi Hyson brought a very strong performance to the album with his keyboards, organ, vocals and song writing along with the steady drum sound of ‘Paapa’ Nyarkoh and heavy bass man Steve Samuels.

SADIKI TO RELEASE NEW REGGAE SINGLE, TITLED ‘MAMA'
Jamaican reggae artist Sadiki is preparing to release a new roots single, titled “Mama”.
Sadiki’s single, produced by Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor, is a heartfelt cultural ballad with a twist – it describes the family bond between an ailing mother and her son, but at the same time, the song offers a thoughtful commentary on the current state of Jamaican culture.
The title, “Mama,” refers in part to the nation of Jamaica itself, and through a succession of sensitive and symbolic lyrics, the song pleads for Jamaican expatriates to regard, support and most importantly, to love their homeland, despite its many struggles.
Sadiki has seen an upsurge in activity as a singer, songwriter, manager and producer during the past two years. He has collaborated with McGregor on his last two riddim albums, “Cool and Deadly Riddim” and “Club Dance Riddim,” which commingled Jamaican reggae stars, such as Sanchez, Buju Banton, Nadine Sutherland and Ce’Cile, with British Lovers Rock luminaries, such as Adele Harley, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Peter Spence, Peter Hunnigale and Lady Lex. He currently manages legendary reggae group Chalice, Godfather of Ska Eric Monty Morris and most recently, Sadiki became a member of Jamaican Rocksteady group, The Tennors, who he also manages.
